Richardson to visit Vinton in morning; Dems will hold banquet in evening
The Benton County Democrats will hold their annual fundraising banquet Saturday, November 3, at the Vinton Country Club.
Social hour at 6:00 p.m, and the meal to be served at 7:00 pm with speakers beginning at 8:00.
All of the Democratic Presidential Candidates have been invited. While none have committed, only Gov. Richardson has indicated he definitely will not be in attendance. Gov. Richardson will be in Vinton Saturday Morning Nov. 3, at 8:30 at the Java Alley Coffee Shop. The Edwards and Richardson campaigns have promised a surrogate will be in attendance and the remaining campaigns have indicated they are still working hard to have either the candidate or a surrogate in attendance. Banquet cost is $20.00 per person or $35.00 per couple.Reservations may be made up to noon of Friday Nov 2nd by calling 319 228 8148.
